The St. Louis Zoo decorates for Halloween and opens up late. Carter begged us to go so we obliged. He seemed to really enjoy walking around and playing on the playground. He was very brave and enjoyed all the displays. Here are the pictures.

Trip to the St. Louis Zoo

I had to go downtown to pick up my marathon packet, so I decided to take a detour and have the family enjoy the zoo with me. It was Carter’s first trip to the St. Louis Zoo and I think he enjoyed it. Some pictures are here.
Forest Park date night

I started a new job at Mobile Armor. To celebrate the change, Kathy & I spent a nice night out in Forest Park. We walked around the Zoo and then took out a paddle boat from the Boathouse. These are two of our favorite places in St. Louis and they each are uniquely St. Louis. We capped off the evening with a great dinner at the Boathouse. One nice touch was that, while on the paddle boats, we stumbled across a live concert that was part of the Taste of St. Louis. The obligatory picture gallery is here.
