Took awhile to get this together, because the computer first lost a fan and then decided to BSOD after every boot. Fortunately, I was able to fix it and I am now ready to present the next musical sensation – Carter!
He still has some work to do, but Carter can stand himself up for a split second. Actually, he has had some better attempts, but these were the best we could get on film. Enjoy!
Carter no longer needs his parents to help sit him up. As you can see, he has really mastered that himself now and is doing it regularly. He first did it yesterday but, unlike most new things, he can do it repeatedly right away.
We had the opportunity to take Carter to the Pool and the Beach for the first time over Memorial day weekend. I think Carter really enjoyed the water. You can see the photo gallery here. Or, just look at the videos!
The milestones are sure flying by… here you can see Carter making forward progress towards a goal for the first time! He is lying down between each movement forward but all the elements are there for him to crawl. Now we are staring at the scary prospect of beginning to baby-proof the house… but well worth it.
Carter took right away to eating the solid foods, but I thought I would post a video a week later showing how much more he is enjoying it and how well he is doing. Maybe I should get a steak for him tomorrow!
