More fun with Grandma, Grandpa, Marc, Shannon, Tavean, and Talia at Hershey Park and Chocolate World!
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for inviting us to camp with them and go to Hershey, PA! We had so much fun
I can’t say enough good things about the Newseum. We spent way more time than expected there because to the sheer number and quality of exhibits. But I think Carter’s highlight was showcasing his reporting talent.
What’s better after a great day than breakfast for dinner at Bob Evans? Even better was introducing it to the family and getting a little paper football game in.
The game was enjoyable to watch. Army started out strong playing stout defense and blocking a punt and returning it for a touchdown. However, Navy prevailed and kept the winning streak alive.
Very cool watching the paratroopers fly in and watching the flyovers. Helicopters are significantly more photogenic than jets.
Participating in the card stunt was a lot of fun for everyone.
It was really cool to take the light rail in. As we arrived we were welcomed to the sounds and the sights of the day immediately as the cadets marched in their parade into the stadium adjacent to the train station.
With Universal a complete bust, I decided to sleep in while Carter and Mommy went to the park. In the afternoon, however, it was pool time!
Despite much of the day being trapped on a broken ride or waiting for a broken ride, Carter declared Universal “Better than Disney.” We started the day in Harry Potter’s world which turns out to be quite different than my own. Carter did get a wand and enjoyed performing his own magic throughout the park, so you can see a couple videos below of that. I needed to nap in the middle of the day after riding one too many of the same 14D rides (okay, they claim only 4 dimensions) repackaged with different heroes and villains. I am not angry. Anyway, much fun was had by Carter.
