We had a great Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa. Since we forgot to bring our ornaments but did have a tree (err, shrub) we spent a lot of time making ornaments for our tree.
Christmas time is here! With Carter getting older, we decided to cut down our own tree this year. We visited Christmas Traditions Christmas Tree Farm to see Santa and pick out our own Christmas tree. The selection of taller trees was lacking a little bit, but the experience of the visit and the staff at Christmas Traditions made the experience well worthwhile. Carter (and Mommy and Daddy) really enjoyed our time with Santa… we may have found a new holiday tradition. You can see the pictures here.
Hopefully the video uploads this time. Merry Christmas!
Carter wishes everyone a Merry Christmas
Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Marc, and Aunt Shannon were nice enough to come visit Carter just after Christmas. It was the first time Carter got to meet his Uncle & Aunt. The visit was very quick, but it really was nice having everyone here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Special thanks goes out to Grandpa for help fixing the basement toilet! Pictures from the visit are here.
Carter, Kathy, and I had a wonderful, quiet Christmas together. We definitely missed our families, but we did make the most of it and were able to enjoy the day as a family. You can see our photos here.
Carter picked out his first Christmas tree!
The Christmas lights are up!
